A precautionary boil water notice will be issued for your area served by the City of Lake Worth Beach Water Utilities potable water distribution system beginning on 1/30/2024
Water will be off from 9:30AM-12:30:00PM.
Reason for notice: 2” SERVICE BREAK 3240 CYNTHIA LANE CLUB HOUSE
Therefore, as a precaution, the Utility is advising that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient.
Where there is a loss of power and you are unable to boil water, disinfect water using household bleach. Add 6 drops of bleach to each gallon of water. Double the amount of bleach if the water is cloudy, colored, or very cold. Stir and let stand for 30 minutes.
This precautionary boil water notice will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected and a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink.
